Our Story

 

Enrico Zanolla studied architecture in one of the most important University in Europe (IUAV) in Venice and graduated in 2004.
Between 2004 and 2011 has co-owned DZstudio, design and interior studio, collaborating during the years with companies such as Calligaris, Venier, Miniforms, Fantoni, Gruppo Sintesi. After a 2 year experience in Moscow as furniture designer has started his own studio in fall 2011.
The studio has transformed from a only design focused studio to a brand transforming it into a company whose focus has become the production of a new range of products that could express the vision of Enrico Zanolla. In 2018 the brand has evolved simply in “Zanolla” and will develop under this name a more extended range of products that will include other designers also.

 

Enrico Zanolla works concerning architecture, contract, interior design, industrial design are strictly linked to the sensorial glorification and style. He shows his projects in the most important design exhibitions, cultivating originality in each project he adopts. He developed a particulary attention to shapes, colours, textiles and trends of furniture, design and fashion. His objective is to tackle projects not only in terms of the aesthetic aspects traditionally associated with design, but by developing the entire creative process, including project conception, technical development, engineering and design. He engages in design and consultation for clients around the world, from large-scale projects and global brands to smaller start-ups to private residentials and commercial projects.
His works have been featured on BoBedre, Interior+Design, Audi Magazine, Touch Decor, RUM, Fesco Life, Elle Decor, Icon, Interni, Azure, Made, Dwell, Complot, Repubblica, Diseno Interior, Gioia Casa and many more.

Sustainability

Our entire process of design focuses on the idea of creating contemporary objects with particular attention to sustainability and ethical values. Starting from the original idea to the first prototypes to the production we promote responsibility through our design sharing a new vision that can be experienced with the quality of our craftsmanship and conscious use of materials.

Craftsmanship

We believe in the strong connection between design and manual craftsmanship. Our work starts from the idea of combining masterly skills with modern design resulting in the vibrant essence of our products. The relationship with local workshops is fundamental to carry on the traditional values and skills highlighting the passion of professionals whose heritage is visible and results in the great attention to details of our products.

 

 

Our production is the result of an original approach challenging conventional attitude to offer a range of products that can withstand time and trends. Our goal is growing as design brand on the worldwide market with deep roots in the local businesses that can guarantee high quality, unconventional, sustainable, timeless products.
